Personal Care and Mobility Assistance

Our carers are trained to assist our clients with personal hygiene this includes bathing, showering, body wash, oral hygiene, skin care  and dressing, also our carers will assist with continence care.

Our carers are well trained to use all the equipment related with mobility and have the manual and handling training.

Medication Reminder and Assistance

As we grow older or because of an illness; it is sometimes very easy to forget about taking the medication.

Our carers will assist the clients with medication reminders and assistance ensuring the prescribed medication is taken at the correct time and this will be documented.

Companionship & Recreational Activities

To stay healthy and content, social interaction is fundamental for the client’s emotional and mental well-being.

At Caritas our carers will make great companions by engaging the clients in conversations about their interests and organising activities for them.

Grocery Shopping

For the clients that are unable to do their grocery shopping or don’t have relatives or friends that could help with the grocery shopping; in Caritas Our carers will be able to help with this difficult task.

Meal Preparation

At Caritas we acknowledge the importance of good nutrition in supporting a healthy living, our carers will assist the clients with meal preparation making sure they meet their diet requirements. For the clients that are not able to feed themselves our carers will provide feeding assistance.

Light Housework

Household tasks can become very difficult as we grow older and it could be difficult and stressful, with Caritas “Helping Hands “ we will be there for you to help with the household tasks such as making the bed, hoovering, dusting, helping with the laundry and help you to tidy up living areas.

Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care

Our carers have the training and the experience to be able to manage behaviour changes, they know how to approach and handle these situations in the best appropriate way to minimise the stress of the client and their family too.

Some of the patients with terminal illness choose to stay in their house until their last days, because they want to be surrounded by their family and want more time to spend with their love ones.

Our carers have the qualifications and experience in Palliative Care to be able to work together with the patient’s family in the best possible manner to provide the best care and quality of life till the very end.

In Caritas we provide rehabilitation care services fully personalised according with the patient’s needs by helping the client to have a faster recover after a surgery, injury or illness.

Caritas “Helping Hands” will be able to provide 24/7 live-in carers as an alternative to nursing home care. This will allow the clients to remain living in the comfort of their home. Our carers will ensure that the client will get the highest level of care. Our staff Supervisor will create a personalised care plan that will reflect all the care needs of the clients.
