Referral Program Terms of Service
Agreement
By participating in the Caritas ‘Helping Hands’ Home Care Referral Program (“Program”), you agree to the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”). We may update or modify these terms at any time, and your continued participation in the Program constitutes acceptance of any changes. Violations of the following terms may result in the termination of your affiliate status, the forfeiture of earned commissions, or other appropriate actions.
Account Terms
You must be at least 18 years old to join the Program.
You must reside in Ireland and provide accurate personal information, including your legal name, valid email address, and PayPal email for payments.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You may only have one affiliate account, and sharing account details with others is not permitted.
Referral Form and Submission
You are required to submit referral information through our designated form, available on the Caritas ‘Helping Hands’ website. The following information must be provided accurately for each referral:
Referrer’s full name, email, and contact phone number.
Referrer’s PayPal email (for payment processing).
Referred client’s name and contact details (email or phone number).
Consent to these terms and conditions must be confirmed by checking a box on the form before submission.
Referral Tracking
We track referrals manually using a secure spreadsheet (Excel/Google Sheets). This includes:
- Referrer’s name and contact details.
- Referred client’s information and the status of their service engagement (contract signed, under service, etc.).
- Payment status (paid/unpaid).
Referral Fees and Payments
To be eligible for a referral fee, the referred client must:
- Sign a contract for services with Caritas ‘Helping Hands’.
- Receive services for a minimum period of 6 consecutive months.
A single referral payment of €200 will be made for each qualifying referral after the referred client has fulfilled these conditions. Payments are issued once the 6-month service period is complete, and only one payment will be made per referred client, regardless of the duration of their service beyond the initial 6 months.
Payments will be issued via PayPal only, at the end of each month after verification that all conditions are met.
We reserve the right to withhold or refuse payments in cases of fraud or other violations of these terms.
Eligibility
To qualify for the Program:
- You must be a resident of Ireland.
- Referrals must be new customers who have not previously received services from Caritas ‘Helping Hands’.
Communication and Updates
After submitting a referral form, you will receive a manual confirmation email. You will also receive updates when:
- Your referral signs a contract.
- The referral completes the required 6-month service period.
- Payments are processed.
Updates are manually managed and sent to referrers via email.
Data Privacy and GDPR Compliance
As part of the Program, we collect personal data such as your name, contact details, and PayPal email. This data is necessary for processing your referrals and payments and will be securely stored in compliance with GDPR regulations.
By submitting referral forms, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your personal data for these purposes. The data will only be shared as required for payment processing or legal obligations.
We maintain records of your consent and ensure that all data is stored securely and only used in accordance with the outlined purposes.
Payment Conditions
Payments are made after:
- The referred client has signed a service contract.
- The client has received services for a minimum of 6 months.
- Your referral fees have accumulated to at least €200.
Payments are issued via PayPal at the end of the month after verification.
Fraud Prevention
We take fraud seriously and reserve the right to withhold payments if any signs of fraudulent behavior are detected. This includes multiple referrals from the same person or any other suspicious activity. In cases of fraud, your affiliate status may be terminated immediately.
Income Declaration
Affiliate payments are considered taxable income, and it is your responsibility to report this income to the relevant tax authorities. We do not provide tax advice and recommend consulting with a tax professional if you have any questions.
Termination
You may terminate your participation in the Program at any time by notifying Caritas ‘Helping Hands’ in writing. Likewise, Caritas ‘Helping Hands’ reserves the right to terminate your participation for any reason, with or without notice. Upon termination, any unpaid referral commissions will be forfeited.
Limitation of Liability
Caritas ‘Helping Hands’ is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the Program, including loss of earnings or data. Our liability will not exceed the total referral fees owed to you under this Agreement.
Miscellaneous
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Ireland. You may not transfer or assign this Agreement without our prior written consent. Failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
